LEAN MANUFACTURING

Lean manufacturing, or simply "lean," is a systematic philosophy for reducing waste in a manufacturing system while maintaining productivity. Lean manufacturing, which originates from the Toyota Production System (TPS), aims to minimize waste in the production process by clearly identifying what adds value for the customer and removing what does not add value. When your company begins to think about lean manufacturing, it's important to keep in mind that the lean process takes time – like turning a massive cruise ship, carefully but surely.

When implementing lean manufacturing, we consider five principles:

We identify all the steps that add value to the product and eliminate those that do not.

Continuous improvement is essential for lean manufacturing. The goal is to always think of ways to eliminate waste, as well as document and standardize processes.

We discover ways to simplify steps in the process to deliver the maximum value to the end customer at the lowest cost.

Production is triggered by customer orders. We do not produce for stock.
